A highly regarded client is looking to bring on a motivated and experienced Mid-Level Attorney to join their Corporate Team, with a focus on Private Equity and M&A matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions within the private equity sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions and collaborate with leading professionals in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements, conducting due diligence, and managing closing processes.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with the senior legal team, and other members to deliver high-quality services.
  • Prepare and review transaction documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on private equity M&A transactions.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Active bar membership in good standing in Massachusetts or ability to waive in.
