Associate General Counsel - Retail Chain
A classic American Retail Chain is hiring! This publicly traded company, with nearly 2,000 stores in the US and Canada, sells items like furniture, electronics, and appliances. My client is looking to hire a Transactions focused Associate General Counsel to help their dynamic and collaborative legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements including technology, vendor, supplier, service, and more
- Assist on M&A matters - due diligence and executing transactions
- Provide legal advice on compliance and debt financing issues
- Work with outside counsel
- Possibility of supervising real estate attorney
Requirements:
- JD from accredited law school
- 8+ years of legal experience. In-house and law firm preferred
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
- 3 days in ATL office
- Georgia Bar license is preferred
