Compliance Manager - Consumer & Small Business Lending

Our client, one of America's largest Banking groups, is looking to hire an experienced Compliance professional at a Manager / Assistant Vice President level to lead specialist Compliance program and change engagements across the firms evolving Consumer & Small Lending business focusing on key 2LOD programs across the firms full suite of Consumer Lending products. The firm are one of the world's largest banking groups whose global presence continues to go from strength to strength. The Consumer Banking business whilst among the largest in the US, it is still growing, and this is one of several new hires in this specialist Compliance group.

You will report directly into the Director of Consumer Lending Compliance with multiple office locations across the East Coast.

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for…

  • Providing Compliance Oversight and Challenge to 1LOD and key members Consumer & Small Lending Business
  • Helping to devise and deliver upon specialist Compliance Risk reviews identifying and remediating any control gaps across the firms Consumer & Small Business Lending departments
  • Issues Management, driving solutions to their root cause.
  • Identifying improvements to the annual Consumer & Small Business Lending Compliance program

The Compliance Manager should have the following qualifications…

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Compliance, Audit or Compliance/Risk Oversight experience gained across Consumer & Small Business Lending with experience across any related products considered
  • Experience and subject matter expertise of the regulations governing the one of more Consumer Lending product lines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
