Responsibilities:
Ensure global adherence to regulatory standards (FDA, CE, REACH, etc.), manage certifications, and stay up-to-date on changes.
Align compliance strategies with retail buyer needs, ensuring product meets specific requirements.
Approve specifications, collaborate with teams on compliance during development, and oversee compliance documentation.
Ensure regulatory accuracy in labeling, packaging, and user guides while maintaining documentation for approvals.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements across multiple regions (U.S., Canada, U.K., China, etc.).
Experience working with sales, product development, and legal teams to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Ability to balance compliance with business needs, knowing when to escalate issues and mitigate risks.
Familiarity with certifications, testing procedures, and maintaining accurate compliance documentation (e.g., UL, Smarter Sorting).
