Insurance Attorney
We are partnered with a national client seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Attorney to join any of their national offices. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation with a solid understanding of various insurance policies, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
Responsibilities:
Manage and represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and complex commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents.
Review insurance policies and provide coverage evaluations, reservation of rights letters, and strategic legal advice.
Conduct factual investigations, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
Participate in case planning, strategy discussions, and business development efforts.
Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, mediators, and other parties involved in litigation.
Qualifications:
4+ years experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, with a focus on various insurance types (e.g., general liability, professional liability, D&O, and errors and omissions).
Ability to handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, including conducting investigations, preparing legal documents, taking depositions, and participating in mediation.
Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
Admission to the state bar corresponding to the office location.
