We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team.
The Litigation Counsel will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution for the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal matters. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to protect the company's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Senior Counsel - Litigation
- Manage and oversee all litigation matters, including pre-litigation disputes, active litigation, and post-litigation activities.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on a wide range of litigation issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Represent the company in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and other dispute resolution forums.
- Collaborate with external counsel and manage relationships with outside law firms.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on litigation-related matters and risk management.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's litigation strategy and operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all litigation matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, preferably with 1st chair trial experince
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a tea
