My client is seeking a mid to senior level Employee Benefits Attorney to join their legal team in New York. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who are looking to further their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Their looking to bring an attorney into their Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany office. Remote arrangements will be considered on a case by case basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of employee benefits matters.
  • Handle issues related to ERISA, retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans.
  • Work directly with clients to develop and manage benefits strategies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • ERISA Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
  • Benefits Plan Expertise: Experience with retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans.
  • Legal Proficiency: Ability to provide accurate legal advice and compliance strategies
  • 4-10 years of experience in within employee benefits law
  • Strong oral, written communication, and strong academic background
