A reputable client is seeking a high-performing and experienced Corporate Attorney to join their growing, dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and commercial transactions, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex legal matters and over 3 years of experience. This individual will possess excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role will sit in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and business transactions.
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate restructuring activities.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to corporate transactions.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for corporate deals.
- Collaborate to develop strategies that align with business objectives.
- Represent in negotiations and regulatory proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Ohio bar admission or ability to waive in.
- Has 3+ years of practicing attorney experience in corporate law, with a focus on transactional matters.
- Is detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
