Employment Litigation Associate

Our client, a leading law firm in the legal industry, is seeking a talented mid-level Employment Litigation Associate to join their Seattle office. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in employment litigation, including defending employers in matters related to discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour claims. Experience in advising clients on workplace policies and day-to-day legal issues will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend clients in employment-related disputes, including discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and wage and hour matters.

  • Draft discovery requests, initial pleadings, dispositive motions, and agency position statements.

  • Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on workplace policies and everyday legal matters.

  • Collaborate with team members while also being able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrate strong advocacy skills, with a focus on persuasive writing and clear communication.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in employment litigation.

  • Strong drafting and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Admission to the Washington State Bar is required.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive yearly salary range of $165,000 - $190,000 (determined by experience, seniority, skills, and qualifications).
