Finance Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Represent lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders in complex finance transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, acquisition financing, and capital markets transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers, and related documentation.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and assist in structuring finance deals to address client goals and mitigate risk.
  • Provide strategic counsel on regulatory compliance, credit risk, and market trends impacting commercial lending and corporate finance.
  • Collaborate across practice areas, including M&A, restructuring, and tax, to support broader transactional matters.

Finance Attorney Qualifications:

  • 2-6+ years of finance transactional experience, preferably with commercial lending.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute complex debt financing transactions from term sheet through closing.
  • Law firm experience required.
