We are seeking a Director of Legal & Compliance to join our team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will collaborate with investor relations, finance, and operations teams to provide daily advisory and ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee legal and compliance matters, including fund formation, fundraising, and investment transactions.
Advise management and investment teams on operational matters.
Draft, revise, and maintain legal documents related to fund business.
Liaise with external legal counsels to represent the fund's interests.
Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Handle ad hoc legal and compliance issues from internal and external parties.

Requirements:

Strong academic background with a law degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in top-tier private equity/venture capital funds or related fields.
Fluency in English and Mandarin (reading and writing).
Detail-oriented with strong legal and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently under pressure.
