Senior Advice & Counsel Associate/Of Counsel
We are partnered with a reputable national client looking to bring on a Labor and Employment Attorney for any of their Southern California offices. We are looking for an Associate or Of Counsel with 7 years of employment law experience to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counseling employers on day-to-day employment issues, including compliance with federal and state laws
- Drafting and reviewing employment policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices
- Handling ADA and FMLA matters, including accommodations and leave management
- Drafting employment contracts and agreements, ensuring clarity and legal soundness
- Providing management and employee training on various employment law topics
- Conducting workplace investigations into complaints and allegations
Requirements:
- Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school
- Strong writing and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Admission to the California Bar is required
- Prior experience providing advice and counseling on employment law-related matters is essential
