We have partnered with a rapidly growing healthcare company that works tirelessly to deliver tailored, cost-efficient services aimed at optimizing patient well-being. They are looking for an Associate General Counsel to join their team with a generalist background having worked with both regulatory and corporate functions within the healthcare setting. This role will join a small but growing legal team and wear multiple hats.
Main responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensure regulatory compliance across home healthcare, specialty pharmacy and therapy services. Experience with HIPAA< FDA regulations, Medicare/Medicaid, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback and State Pharmacy Licensing laws is expected.
- Mitigate Legal Risk by collaborating across departments on policy creation and due diligence.
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreement. Experience with Vendor contracts, service agreements, payor agreements and NDAs is expected.
- Assist with M&A activity including due diligence, acquisition of entities and other complex transactions.
- Advise on Privacy and Data Security, Employment Law, and Corporate Governance.
Applicant Requirements:
- JD from an Accredited University
- 8+ years of experience in the above skillset. Preference for a candidate with mix of Law Firm and In House work.
- Ability to work in a smaller team and pivot as needed.
- Ability to work remotely.
