The Opportunity:
Our Client is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Project Finance to lead and support legal aspects of our Client's renewable energy projects. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while enabling you to make a tangible impact on a cleaner energy future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance on project finance matters, including debt financing, tax equity structuring, and ITS/PTC adders.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key agreements such as credit facilities, tax equity agreements, and other financial instruments.
- Advise on corporate financing, regulatory compliance, and renewable energy incentive programs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, development, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay current on laws, regulations, and market trends impacting the renewable energy sector.
What We're Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
- 6+ years of legal experience with a focus on project finance, including expertise in debt, tax equity, and ITS/PTC-related matters.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability.
