We have partnered with a leading Global Software Company specializing in advanced analytics and AI. Their software provides innovative solutions to help organizations make smarter decisions and deliver exceptional service. They have emerged as industry leaders within their space and are looking for tech attorneys who are excited to contribute to their continued growth.
This role will be based in the NYC metro area and operate on a hybrid schedule of 2 days in the office a week. You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth in the Americas and lead complex commercial transactions across sales, product, and procurement functions. This is a great opportunity to have exposure to a variety of legal issues and receive great mentorship from senior leaders of the legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in the drafting and negotiation of SaaS transactions between the company and its customers and business partners
- Collaborate with other teams on a variety of data privacy issues and security initiatives
- Stay abreast of US and international laws related to commercial matters, data privacy and cybersecurity
- Draft, view and negotiated complex outbound sales contracts including SaaS agreements and software licensing agreements
Qualifications:
- 4+ years as a licensed practicing attorney
- At least 2+ years' experience working specifically on sales-side SaaS transactions
- Extensive experience handling complex commercial transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Must have prior in-house experience, preferably at a US publicly traded company
- JD from an accredited law school with admission to state bar
