A Global leader in the Data space is looking to expand their legal function and hire a Contracts Specialist. This company is responsible for storing and protecting thousands of the world's largest company's data - all in one place. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is looking to work with a company leading the data space.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate software licensing agreements including SaaS, subscription, service, IP, and more
- Working closely with legal team to support company's mergers and acquisitions
- Handling all share purchase and asset purchase agreements
- Supporting management and providing business units on issues related to contracting, compliance, data security, and licensing
Requirements
- 3+ years of contracts experience
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS, agreements
- M&A contract experience required
- Experience with share purchase and asset purchase agreements
- Ability to communicate and negotiate contracts
- Problem solving abilities
