Position Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney to join their team out of the Miami, FL office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor law, employment law, and strong federal litigation experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases and provide strategic legal counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and contract negotiations.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
- Provide advice to clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends.
- Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, including discovery, motions, and trials.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop effective strategies for client representation.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, offering insightful legal guidance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Florida.
- 3+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong understanding of federal employment regulations.
