*REMOTE* Senior Commercial Counsel - Leading Global Fintech Company
As a Senior Commercial Attorney specializing in sourcing and vendor management, you will play a crucial role in our legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of our vendor relationships and sourcing activities. You will be responsible for managing contracts, negotiating agreements, and advising on legal issues related to sourcing and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, implementation, and ongoing management.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, and procurement contracts.
- Provide legal advice and guidance on sourcing strategies and vendor selection processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, finance, and business teams, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments related to sourcing and vendor management, and implement necessary changes to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the any US state bar and in good standing.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial legal work, with a focus on sourcing and vendor management.
- Ideally, 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
