Senior Transactional Paralegal
A top publicly-traded Real Estate Investment Trust specialized on Residential & Multi-family properties is looking to hire a Senior Transactional Paralegal to assist in the review and revision of title reports and surveys, along with assisting on disposition and acquisition due diligence. This can sit out of their LA, Orange County, or San Francisco Bay Area office (preference for the SF Bay Area). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess a strong understanding of real estate law and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, assist, and negotiate documents relating to title, survey, and zoning review
- Assist with the closing of acquisitions and dispositions, real estate joint ventures, and financings
- Revise and draft contracts based on client needs and legal requirements.
- Oversee the process of obtaining title information, including ordering title reports, reviewing title and survey issues, etc
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience as a paralegal, either at a law firm or in-house
- Strong understanding of real estate law and transactions
