Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and talented Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and trial.
- Represent clients in court hearings and depositions.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
- Manage case files and ensure timely compliance with court deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar.
- 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
