A prestigious client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated corporate attorney to join its dynamic New York office. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 4 years of experience in handling complex private equity, leveraged buyout M&A transactions, and general corporate matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts and mergers & acquisitions.
- Provide strategic legal advice on general corporate matters to clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and agreements.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of deals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting private equity and M&A transactions.
- Foster strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to New York state bar.
- Large law firm experience.
- Stellar academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
- Energy sector experience is preferred but not required.
