Staff Counsel - Civil Litigation
A Well- Established Property & Casualty Insurance Company is looking for a Civil Litigation Attorney for their Staff Counsel office in Rocky Hill, CT. The Opportunity involves reporting directly to the Managing Regional Attorney and work closely with adjustors and clients. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and manage liability cases in Civil Litigation from initiation to resolution through dismissal, settlement, or trial.
This position can be done hybrid/fully remote
Responsibilities
Handle moderate to high exposure liability cases in civil litigation from the inception of the lawsuit until conclusion through dismissal, settlement or trial within Connecticut
Required to work with adjusters and clients to resolve claims as expeditiously and efficiently as possible.
Qualifications
- Experience in automobile and general liability matters, with jury trial experience preferred but not required
- Able to work in a team environment with other attorneys, adjusters, claims professionals and support staff
- Admitted to CT
