Real Estate Counsel
A reputable Real Estate firm specialized on financing for affordable housing in the Greater Los Angeles area is looking to hire a Counsel to assist on real estate transactions, specifically related to tax credit syndication and LIHTC financed projects. This will work with senior leadership across both the business and legal department in a fast-paced environment, hybrid out of the firm's Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating of investment contracts, equity financing agreements, and other transactions-related documents
- Assisting with the negotiation of debt and equity financing agreements with both lenders and tax credit syndicators for the benefit of affordable housing developers
- Assisting on all matters related to LIHTC financed projects
- Structuring, documenting, and closing funds
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with expertise in real estate law
- Prior knowledge and experience working on LIHTC financing projects
- Prior experience working on commercial real estate transactions
- Admission in good standing of the CA State Bar
