Im partnered with a leading manufacturer in the aerospace and aviation industry who is looking to bring on a talented Contract Manager with an emphasis in government contracts.
Job Overview: As a Contract Manager, you will manage the customer interface throughout the contract lifecycle, oversee contract negotiations, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You'll be responsible for managing contracts, administering claims, and supporting the company's commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract negotiations and customer interactions for US Government contracts (prime and subcontracts).
- Review and execute contracts in line with pricing strategies and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS, trade compliance, FAA, etc.).
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms for OEM, repair, maintenance, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with the Director of Legal on contract drafting, revisions, and negotiations.
- Manage contract execution, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely compliance.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage customer relationships.
- Oversee internal and external agreements, including commissions, rebates, and licenses.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in contract management and negotiation.
- Knowledge of government contracting, FAR/DFARS, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and handle multiple tasks.
