Our Client is a fast growing team with a global presence, looking to add a Legal Counsel with real estate experince to be a keypart of their Austin, TX office. This person will support development and construction across multiple projects.
Legal Counsel - Real Estate
- Manage and oversee legal matters related to real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on a wide range of real estate and energy issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Review and manage title and survey matters to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and other dispute resolution forums.
- Collaborate with external counsel and manage relationships with outside law firms.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in [relevant jurisdiction].
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on energy-related matters.
- Strong knowledge of real estate and energy law, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
