Responsibilities
Advise and Represent Clients:
- Provide legal representation in court, before government agencies, and in private legal matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, judges, and other parties involved in the case.
Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal problems related to labor and employment law.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
Document Preparation and Argumentation:
- Present facts both in writing and verbally to clients or others.
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds.
- Argue on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.
Business Compliance and Dispute Resolution:
- Assist businesses in labor law compliance and dispute resolution.
- Represent employees in labor law violation cases.
- Participate in collective bargaining negotiations.
Employment Rights and Obligations:
- Provide advice to clients on employment rights and obligations.
- Investigate complaints and evidence to determine grounds for legal action.
Case Preparation:
- Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presenting cases.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the state bar.
