Commercial Contracts Counsel (Fully Remote)
Job Description:
Our client, a Global Fortune 500 Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Contracts Attorney to join the legal team full time on a contract basis from February to May 2025. This full-time remote role requires a professional with a strong background in contracts and extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract terms align with business objectives.
- Maintain organized records of all contract-related documents and correspondence.
- Stay updated on changes in commercial law and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contract law.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
Compensation
- 165/hour, 40 hours a week
