Associate Attorney Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in general liability cases, including personal injury, property damage, and other related claims.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage all phases of litigation, from inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop effective defense strategies.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in New York.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in general liability defense.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
