A highly regarded client is seeking an experienced employment attorney to join the team as Special Counsel in their Virtual Office. This mostly remote role involves handling administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation for various firm clients, including those with Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI).
Responsibilities include:
- Directly handling employment matters and supervising others
- Developing case strategies, drafting and reviewing work product
- Conducting depositions and representing clients at hearings, conferences, and trials
- Collaborating with partners and a team of attorneys
- Benefiting from the support of paralegals and a shared secretarial pool
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on administrative charges, demand letters, and single-plaintiff litigation
- Potential involvement in class actions, PAGA cases, and other labor and employment law matters
- Some travel (mostly local) may be required

Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Minimum of seven plus years of experience in employment law and litigation
- Active bar membership in good standing

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience practicing in a law firm
- Experience with EPLI matters
- Bar admission in California or Texas
