Privacy and Data Compliance Legal Counsel - Technology Firm
My client is a leading and growing Technology Firm and we are recruiting for a Data Compliance Legal Counsel to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all legal related matters in the region, and work closely with stakeholders in the market.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft legal documents across general commercial contracts, HR, employment, IP/privacy financing, etc.
- Develop and implement a data compliance (including data privacy and protection) framework
- Providing full legal support and rendering legal advice and handling of legal agreements in respect of a broad spectrum of matters
- Liaising with external counsels where necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification is preferred
- 7+ years of relevant law firm experience / in-house experience, focus on data privacy, data protection, and data compliance..
- Able to work independently
