The patent agent will be responsible for:
- Draft and file patent applications, including detailed descriptions, claims, and drawings to ensure they meet legal requirements.
- Conduct prior art searches to identify existing patents or publications that might affect the novelty of the invention.
- Respond to office actions and rejections from patent examiners, addressing any objections or requirements.
- Advise clients on patentability, scope of protection, and strategy for filing patents.
- Help clients manage and maintain their patent portfolios, including renewals and updates.
- Ensure all patent filings and procedures comply with relevant laws and regulations.Assist with patent infringement analysis and provide support in legal disputes related to patents.
