This rapidly-growing investment firm is in search for a skilled real estate transactional attorney to become Real Estate Counsel to their expanding team. The ideal candidate will provide legal support and guidance on a wide range of real estate transactions and matters for this firm on the rise, and would receive a full package of benefits along with competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and loan documents.
- Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, including title and survey review, and identify and resolve potential legal issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including asset management, finance, and development, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on relevant real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive legal guidance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to real estate matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate law, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
