We've partnered with an innovative, mission-driven MedTech Company that is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its growing and dynamic legal team. The individual will be the key legal contact for the overall Corporate Functions for the business, providing legal counsel on securities law, corporate governance, M&A, data privacy, cybersecurity, and HR practices. This is a high visibility role and fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support on a wide range of corporate functions.
- Lead related contract review and negotiations.
- Provide legal counsel concerning contracts, FDA regulatory, and other day-to-day operations.
- Manage outside counsel.
- Analyze potential legal risks and develop plans to address and mitigate as appropriate.
Requirements:
- JD and minimum of 10+ years of legal experience.
- Knowledge of Securities laws, finance, litigation, and/or employment law.
- Experience working with FDA, compliance, and commercial law.
- A can-do attitude who can work collaboratively with various levels of employees.
- Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with the life sciences industry preferred.
