They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join thedynamic legal team, focusing on renewable energy and power generation projects. The ideal person will utilize thier background in construction, power generation and natural gas in order to make an immediate impact on current and future projects.
The Senior Legal Counsel will:
- Draft, review, and negotiate EPC, PPA, MSA, interconnection, and offtake agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support on regulatory and commercial matters related to natural gas.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and finance teams, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with renewable energy projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the renewable energy and natural gas sectors from both a regulatory and commercial standpoint.
The Senior Legal Counsel must have:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing with Texas being preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction, power, and/or natural gas sectors.
