A major global bank is looking to expand its US Regulatory Policy team in New York, and add a VP of Regulatory Policy who will be focusing on the oversight and implementation of Capital rules and regulations.
The Vice President of Regulatory Policy will:
- Lead the development and execution of the company's US regulatory policy strategy, ensuring alignment with both local and global regulatory frameworks.
- Work closely with executive teams, legal counsel, compliance officers, and government relations teams to identify and address regulatory inquires and opportunities.
- Assist with complex transactions advisory, change management functions, and interpreting rules through implementation
- Oversee the interpretation of highly detailed regulatory issues, advocate for the organization's position in policy discussions, and provide strategic guidance on regulatory matters that impact business operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience developing leading regulatory policy strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Regulatory affairs, public policy, and Capital policy experience
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks in the financial services industry
