Corporate Services Group - Associate - Corporate Transactional Associate
A client is seeking a lateral associate with corporate transactional experience to support its Corporate Services Group. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced legal professionals in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Essential Functions:
Support a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financings, private equity-sponsored transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
Manage multiple complex legal matters at varying stages, from initiation through completion.
Maintain strong attention to detail and clear communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Work independently and proactively, with a strong interest in advancing a career in corporate transactional law.
Deliver high-quality work product and meet billable hour expectations to support client needs.
Contribute to business development efforts both individually and as part of a team.
Consistently adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications:
Education: Juris Doctor (JD) required.
Licensure: Must be licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; must comply with all CLE and licensing requirements.
Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in M&A and other corporate transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating complex corporate agreements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provides indirect oversight by utilizing junior staff or associates to ensure successful outcomes.
Additional Details:
This role involves regular computer use and extended periods of sitting or using a standing desk.
