Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee the commercial, administrative, and contractual aspects of construction projects in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and optimizing project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and manage subcontracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Commercial Oversight: Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and financial performance related to subcontractors.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of subcontractor agreements, payments, and performance metrics.
- Compliance: Ensure all subcontractors adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontractor performance and contractual obligations.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, facilitating effective communication and resolving any issues that arise.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate subcontractor performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on subcontractor performance, project status, and financial metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
