We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join a boutique firm in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and be able to handle complex legal matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and financial litigation.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, depositions, and interrogatories.
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and trial preparation.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Provide clients with strategic legal advice and counsel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 3-5 years of experience at a law firm in commercial litigation.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
