A global firm is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney their legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigator with a proven track record of handling complex commercial disputes. The right individual will be entrusted with managing high-stakes litigation, providing strategic counsel, and representing the client in all litigation matters.
Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead all phases of complex commercial litigation, from pre-litigation strategy through trial and appeal, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
- Represent the client in various commercial disputes, including breach of contract, business torts, shareholder disputes, securities fraud, antitrust, intellectual property, and financial services litigation.
- Develop and implement legal strategies that align with the client's business objectives, ensuring the optimal balance between risk mitigation and commercial interests.
- Draft and review complex pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring clarity and precision in all filings.
- Prepare for and conduct hearings, trials, and arbitrations, including managing all aspects of case preparation, witness examination, and trial presentation.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate, finance, and regulatory teams, to navigate multi-faceted litigation issues.
Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in state of California.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation, with a proven track record of handling high-profile and sophisticated disputes in a corporate or law firm setting.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale litigation matters, including coordination of multi-jurisdictional cases and managing complex discovery processes.
- Strong courtroom presence with substantial trial experience and a deep understanding of litigation strategy, procedural rules, and appellate practice.
