We are partnered with a highly reputable client looking to bring on a remote Construction Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of state and federal litigation experience with familiarity in the construction industry. This is a fully remote role with some travel required. Candidates may be able to work hybrid (if desired) if they are located in the vicinity of a physical office.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clientele including public and private owners, lenders, sureties, general contractors, supplies, subcontractors, etc.
- Handle complex multiparty construction disputes and claims in state and federal courts
- Counsel construction industry clients on risk avoidance
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts and other construction documents
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of litigation experience in state or federal courts
- Legal experience and knowledge in the construction industry, ideally having experience with construction disputes
- Active bar license in one of the following: TX, AR, AL, CO, MS, or OK
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Pay will vary based off experience and location.
