They are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join the team n Dallas, TX. This role is crucial for supporting the operations on the Southern and Western coasts, particularly in the construction of high-stakes, mission-critical projects.
The Corporate Counsel will:
- Develop, draft, and negotiate a range of agreements, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) agreements, design agreements, master service agreements, vendor agreements, and subcontractor agreements.
- Provide comprehensive legal support to project teams and senior management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and mitigating legal risks.
- Oversee and manage legal aspects of transactions related to construction projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Support in resolving construction-related disputes and manage relationships with external legal counsel when necessary.
The Corporate Counsel must have:
- 5 to 6 years of experience in construction law, with a focus on handling transactions related to construction projects. Experience in construction litigation is a plus.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in any US state.
