A growing manufacturing firm is looking for a Commercial Contracts Attorney to join their legal team. This esteemed company has managed and produced leading construction projects across the US.
This individual will join a dynamic legal function and focus on commercial contracts for the team's development.
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate a range of commercial contracts
- Work cross-functionally to provide legal guidance on general compliance and licensing requirements
- Provide legal advice on relevant laws or regulations that impact the business
- Represent company in relevant hearings
Requirements:
- 5-7 of experience, specifically focused on commercial contracts within the construction or design industry
- Experience in handling construction subcontractor agreements, design and consultant agreements, and MBE/WBE contract compliance
- JD from accredited university and active Bar license in the state of New York
