One of the top ten Health Systems in the country by net patient revenue is looking to bring on a Hospital Operations Counsel at the Deputy General Counsel level. This Health System is currently undergoing a massive expansion in their Midwest and Southwest regions, and this position is part of a corporate buildout for their Missouri and Texas locations.
In this role, you will act as the second-in-command to the regional Chief Legal Officer and oversee all Hospital Operations for new and existing locations in the Midwest and Southwest.
Responsibilities:
- Advises on medical staffing and Hospital Operations matters.
- Provides counsel on healthcare regulations and due diligence regarding joint ventures and M&A.
- Oversees drafting of transactional and commercial documents, bylaws, contracts, etc.
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- 6+ years of experience with Hospital Operations at a large Hospital System.
- 8+ years of experience with healthcare regulatory matters and transactions between healthcare organizations.
- Barred in good standing in the state of Texas or the state of Kansas.
