The Healthcare Regulatory Associate will be responsible for...
- Advise clients on a wide range of regulatory issues, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Medicare/ Medicaid, and other federal and state healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the representation of clients in matters before federal and state regulatory bodies.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare regulations, case law, and proposed legislation.
- Prepare and review healthcare policies, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to manage complex healthcare transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Stay abreast of changes in healthcare law and inform both colleagues and clients of pertinent developments.
The Healthcare Regulatory Associate should have the following qualifications...
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to Texas bar.
- 5+ years of experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare law, with a focus on regulatory matters
- Previous experience in a law firm setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations.
