A leader in providing innovative engineering solutions for owners, developers, and the construction industry is looking to expand the team with an In-House Counsel. They specialize in project development, construction management, and risk mitigation to ensure our clients' projects are successful from inception to completion. They are looking to bring on a candidate with experience in construction law specifically from a transactional and risk management stand point.
The In-House Counsel will:
Draft, review, and negotiate construction agreements, service agreements, EPC agreements, project development agreements, NDAs, and other related documents.
Provide legal advice and strategy on claims and disputes, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
Oversee risk management and compliance to minimize legal exposure and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
Manage relationships with outside counsel, ensuring cost-effective and efficient legal support.
Collaborate with various departments to provide legal guidance on project development and construction-related matters.
The In-House Counsel must have:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active US bar licensure.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the construction, or engineering industries.
Strong knowledge of construction law, transactional experience preferred.
