A Global Investment Management Firm is currently seeking to hire their first lawyer sitting in the United States who will be responsibile in assisting with the build out of the firm's North American legal presence. This counsel will work directly with the Head of Legal and must have a strong background in private and alternative investment funds across a variety of asset classes, including private equity and private debt funds, hedge funds, and managed accounts. This is a true growth hire for the firm and an exciting opportunity to get involved with a rapidly growing business.
Qualifications:
- JD from a top law school
- 3+ years of experience at a top law firm with a strong focus on private and alternative investment funds; in-house experience preferred
- Experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of private markets fund documentation, including term sheets, PPMs, LPAs, subscription agreements, etc...
