We are partnered with a national client seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Attorney to join any of their national offices. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation with a solid understanding of various insurance policies, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and complex commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents.
- Review insurance policies and provide coverage evaluations, reservation of rights letters, and strategic legal advice.
- Conduct factual investigations, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
- Participate in case planning, strategy discussions, and business development efforts.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, mediators, and other parties involved in litigation.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, with a focus on various insurance types (e.g., general liability, professional liability, D&O, and errors and omissions).
- Ability to handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, including conducting investigations, preparing legal documents, taking depositions, and participating in mediation.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Admission to the state bar corresponding to the office location.
