A leading law practice is seeking a Labor & Employment associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Candidates should have experience with a broad range of employment issues including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Litigation experience should include drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions. Experience taking and defending depositions, and conducting administrative hearings is a plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of employment issues including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Take and defend depositions, and conduct administrative hearings
- Draft workplace policies and conduct employee trainings
- Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to employers
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in labor and employment law
- Experience with workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases
- Litigation experience including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions
- Experience taking and defending depositions, and conducting administrative hearings is a plus
- Excellent writing, communication, and research skills
- Detail-oriented with an excellent work ethic
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 annually, based on a full-time work schedule
- Actual compensation influenced by various factors including qualifications, experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
