Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Counsel to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between remote work and in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate documents, such as purchase agreements, leases, and easements.
- Conduct due diligence and manage title and survey reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in resolving real estate-related disputes and litigation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments affecting real estate and renewable energy sectors.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate transactions, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
