Job Summary: The Litigation Paralegal will support a global manufacturer's legal department in managing and coordinating all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in litigation and compliance, and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, trial, and post-trial activities.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal departments, external counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain litigation calendars and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of deposition and trial materials.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
